LOL. No, we're always told that peaceful and righteous Israel would suddenly find herself beset by Gog and Magog, and her defense would be the returning Messiah on horseback. So-called 'preemptive strikes' to provoke Gog and Magog weren't even conceived of, and that before the Rapture! 😳. That's what I meant by "I'll bet the Dispies didn't see this coming."

These unilateral strikes have the potential, especially volatile right now, to ignite a world conflict. That was the hope of Hamas on 10-7. How is Netanyahu behaving any differently?

Iran's nuclear capabilities are not yet critical, and the U.S. under Trump wouldn't allow it to come to that. Warmongering Zionist expansionist Netanyahu wants a war with Iran. So do the neocons, but most Israeli's don't, and neither does Trump.

So we'll see what happens.

Here is what John MacArthur said at a Ligonier conference.

I don’t need a Hebrew scholar or even some self-righteous anti-Semite bigot on this forum to tell me that Ezekiel 38 is referring to a future battle since what it describes has not taken place yet but it will occur in the “latter years” (Ezekiel 38:8, 16). The nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38 are currently aligned against Israel as described in this passage and every bit of it will occur literally just as the word of God says. I don’t have to understand every detail of prophecy in order to believe it is true any more than I have to demonize the Jews because they are currently in a state of unbelief to bolster one aspect of Reformed theology. I can take parts of Dispensationalism and parts of Reformed theology and acknowledge that I don’t have a perfect understanding of it all without throwing the baby out with the bath water.

LOL no one is denying the hatred of Israel in the middle east. It's easily understood considering the events that led to the displacement of the Palestinians, and worse the idolatrous perversion of the prophecies cited in its justification.

Not not sure if the prevailing Netanyahu = Joshua attitude isn't a more grievous blasphemy.

But if a majority of Israelis agree with me about his reckless incompetence, if not corruption, and warmongering, am I still an antisemite?

The church is thriving in Iran. I pray for our brothers and sisters in the Lord that they are not caught in the crossfire.
